Whenever you overtake the Rissani and dive into the Sahara of Morocco, you will think at first that whole place there is only an unoccupied area, but later on you ill figure out that you are about to see an amazing village ahead. The Merzouga Sahara is a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors, and to spend good times practicing recreational activities.

Tourists go there to camp, to hike, and to bike riding. Besides, they enjoy camel riding which is common activity tourists, locals, and visitors fall in love with. At night the whole place becomes pitch dark, which let it be wonderful to look at the sparkling stars, the camp is the only lighted spot, and the calm music turns the place into a place full romance.

Todgha Gorges:

On the southern edge of the high atlas is Todgha gorges, they are deep narrow valley with steep sides, formed by a river. It exists in a few kilometers in the outskirt of Tinghir town. The stunning view of the gorges is irresistible. The vertical rocky walls are a perfect outlet for climbers.

People have been going there to climb since the French and Spanish primarily climb and some qualified trainers watching every single step of the climbers to keep them safe. The Todgha gorges are limestone river canyons in the Atlas Mountains and are considered to be among the beautiful touristic destinations. Also, it has a luxury traditional restaurants and resorts.

Dades gorges:

Dades is a series of rugged valleys, carved by the Dades River in Morocco. The river in the great atlas originates part of the Atlas Mountains, which flow about 250km south-west before joining a Dades Valley on the edge of the Sahara. The multi-colored walls of the valleys anywhere range from 200 to 500 meters. The area that now forms the Dades is has been on the seabed for millions of years.

Large amounts of sediment have been deposited around the giant coral reefs, and over time these materials have become compressed into a variety of sedimentary rocks such as sandstone and limestone. Eventually, the movement of the earth’s crust caused the region to rise above sea level, forming the Atlas Mountains and the surrounding landscapes.

Moreover, Dades has some dazzling rocky views such as the monkey fingers. Not to mention that with 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, you will see the Famous winding road.

Valley of Roses:

All over the rose-painted city of Marrakech, many little towns sell roses oil and perfumes. But now smells more of roses than Kalaa Des Magouna, otherwise known of as the valley of roses. Each spring, this entire valley blossoms into fields of roses, which are then harvested.

The 3 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour will take you there, and we recommend visiting the area at the time where the roses flourish. Opportunities are several for stopping along the small mule tracks leading to the Atlas slopes. Besides visiting the numberless gardens bordered by rose bushes, almond trees, and orchards where a small agricultural world works all day long.

Atlas Mountains:

Another thing that Morocco can be distinguished from other countries is the Atlas Mountains, a vast range of Mountains, it extends in about 2300 miles from the Atlantic Ocean in the Southwest of Morocco up across Algeria and Tunisia. The 3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga desert is going to take you to witness these natural stunning mountains. As well as to some cities and villages that exist between the foothills. Atlas mountains are also home to a verity of rare plants and animals in Africa, and it often resembles the mountains in Europ. The Atlas Mountains can be divided into three major parts in Morocco; The first one is the High Atlas Mountains.

High Atlas:

it is as such because it has massive mountains with the highest peak of 4.165 meters in Toubkal. The high Atlas mountains expend from the west of Agadir City the northeast, this portion of the high atlas itself can be divided into two parts; the east portion and the west portion, the east part is rather bigger than the counterpart in the west, they are both separated by Taliouin pass.

Middle Atlas:

The middle Atlas mountains are the second part of the Atlas mountains, which lies extends from the middle of morocco up to Taza pass. In the middle Atlas, the iconic city of Ifrane can be found, and about 40 kilometers out f the city in a village named Sidi Khyar, there is an ecologic touristic resort, which exists in a stretch of mountain, it has such panoramic views which our Fez t Marrakech desert tour is going to take you to.

Small Atlas:

The small Atlas mountains are the third part of the Atlas mountains. It has the name small because of the smallest peaks it has compared to the already mentioned part, in the small atlas mountains, the highest peaks do not exceed 2500 meters. However, it still has some beautiful views and stunning villages at the foothills.

He was knowledgeable and well informed about the sites and Abut the country. the Hotel and Camp we stayed in were of high quality even if we choose the standard accommodation. the night we spent in the Sahara desert (camping) was an experience of a lifetime, after a good camel trek, we arrived at our camp. We booked our 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech with Sahara Merzouga Tours when we arrive in Fes. Our driver and guide, Rachid, picked us up on time at our hotel. From the beginning, Rachid was fun, friendly, and informative.
We knew from the beginning that the trip would be a lot of driving, but Rachid broke it up with interesting and beautiful stops. Our favorite day was the first day. It is when we rode on camels to the Sahara desert camp. When we got to the camp, we had the chance to play the sandboard. After that, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. At night we sang around a campfire and slept in the desert. It was amazing!!!
The hotels we stayed in were good, they exceeded our expectations. The Sahara desert camp was good as well. Thank you so much to Rachid and Sahara Merzouga tours for the great service.
