1st Day: Fes – Ifran – Cedar Forest of Azrou – Midalt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara desert:
The adventure begins when we pick you up at your Riad or your hotel in Fez at 8:00 am. We will hit the road to our First destination Ifran. the latter is known as the little Switzerland of Africa. After that, will continue driving until we reach the Cedar forest Of Azrou. Last-mentioned is where you will see some wild monkeys. Furthermore, we will continue traveling over the Zad pass (2,178m/7,146ft) we will have lunch in Midelt. In the afternoon we will drive on to the small town of Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley which is dotted with palm trees. Our day will end in the desert town of Merzouga, where you will spend the evening in a hotel on the edge of the amazing dunes of the Sahara.
2nd day: Tour Around Erg Chebbi Dunes & Camel Trekking – Spend a night in a Desert Camp:
Today, we will make a Tour Around the Sahara desert. The tour will start. Firstly, by visiting the oases of Merzouga. Secondly, we will head to the village name Khamlia. It is where some Africans from the south live. After enjoying their traditional music name Gnawa, we will continue driving to the mines of Mifiss. After that, we will visit a nomad family that is still living in the desert. Finally, we will be returning to the hotel at around 4 pm. There you will have camels waiting to take you into the beautiful Erg Chebbi Dunes, where you will watch the sunset and spend the evening in a desert camp. The latter is where you will enjoy a Berber dinner and sleep in a traditional Nomad camel hair tent. Also, you will get surprised by the silence and beauty of the Sahara.
3rd Day: Merzouga– Rissani – Erfoud – Touroug – Tinjdad – Tinghir – Toudra Gorges – Boumalene – Dades Valley – DADES GORGES:
On the third day of the 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech, you will wake up early for the Sunrise in the Sahara desert. It is a good time for some photographs. After that, you will have breakfast, before returning by camel to the hotel for a shower. Then we will leave the desert to get to Erfoud, which is known for its fossils and geology.
We will drive through beautiful palm trees groves before stopping for lunch and a short walk in the amazing Todra Gorge. A stream runs through the center of the impressive rocky gorge, and you will walk through the beautiful canyon of Todgha. It is a great respite from the heat of the desert. After a walk, we head on to our last destination of the day Boumalne de Dades. The latter is where we will relax and have dinner in a hotel there.
4th Day: Roses Valley – Kelaa M’Gouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate:
After having breakfast, we will travel through the beautiful Dades Valley until we reach Valley of the Roses and the road of a thousand Kasbahs. Our first stop of the day will be in the valley of the roses. After that, we will continue to Skoura. The last-mentioned is where we will visit the historical kasbah Amridil. We will arrive in Ouarzazate in the evening and spend the night in a Riad.
5th Day: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Atlas Mountanais – Marrakech:
Today, we will start our day by visiting all that Ouarzazate has to offer. After that, we will drive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (under Enesco protection) and visit the surrounding traditional villages. We will then drive through the breathtaking scenery of High Atlas and the Tichka pass and make some stops before we arrive at Marrakech in the evening.
