1st day: MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE:
The 5 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert, starts by meeting you at your hotel. After that, we will travel through the stunning High Atlas Mountains. First of all, we will visit the ‘black village’ of Khamlia to see Gnawa musicians. After that, we will head to Mifis mine, then we will visit a nomad family. The last-mentioned is living deep in the desert, close by the borders of Algeria. We will drive to Irssani, where you will have a traditional Berber pizza. After lunch, you will visit the traditional market of Irissani.
In the afternoon we will return to the hotel to prepare for the camel ride to the desert camp. Once you get there, you will have the opportunity, to play the sandboard, then to watch the sunsets over the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will spend the night in a traditional nomad tent.
