2 weeks in Morocco itinerary details:
our Morocco 2-week itinerary begins in Casablanca, the biggest city in Morocco. We will basically visit its famous Hassan II mosque, and drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, and one of the primary destinations of tourists. After that, we are going to head down to Meknes and Fez, two imperial cities known for their enormous walls and gates. After that, we are going to leave for the Sahara desert where you will enjoy the beauty of the sand dunes and take some fascinating photographs. In addition, we are going to drive to Essaouira.
On the way there, we are going to stop to enjoy the majestic houses of the Kasbah of Ait Ben haddou, and carry on driving to Essaouira that is mostly known for its captivating beaches and so many panoramic views. After that, we are going to head to Agadir another coastal city with a rich history and interesting monuments. Last but not least, we are going to drive to Marrakesh city where we will spend a great time and explore many spots. Hopefully, our 15-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakesh will be as informative and explorative as you want it to be.

► 2 weeks in Morocco itinerary from Casablanca:

1st Day: Casablanca – Rabat:

On your arrival at the airport. First of all, we will come to drive you to Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. In this exciting city, you will take a visit to see the extravagant mosque of Hassan II. After that, you will see the old medina of Casablanca where you will be walking among the locals and see the street vendors. Afterward, you will continue to Rabat. The latter is the political capital and the top tourist destination. We will take you by foot to the cornice river, Abi Raqraq, which leads to the Kasbah des Oudaias and walk toward Hassan Tower. Then we will drive you and drop you in the hotel or Riad.

2nd day: Rabat – Asilah – Tangier:

After a nice breakfast, we are going to drive you to Asilah. The last-mentioned is a beautiful town on the north coast of Morocco. We are going to take you to the paradise beach in the south portion. Besides that, you will explore the city and enjoy the picturesque views and the colorful walls painted by several famous world artists. Thereafter, the Morocco 2-week itinerary from Casablanca will be continued to the elegant coastal city of Tangier where you will go to see Heracles gate. Also, we will explore the dazzling city of tangier which is also called the bride of the north thanks to its infinity beauty.

3rd Day: Tangier – Rif mountains – Chefchaouen:

Starting the departure from tangier, we are going to pick you up to travel to Chefchaouen. The track between the two cities is a picturesque natural picture with green valleys along the Rif Mountains. Then, in Chefchaouen or ‘’Chaouen’’ as it is known locally. Firstly, you will stroll the blue alleys of the town. Also, you will be astonished by the colored blue buildings which make the town looks like a blue pearl. Not to mention that everything is a combination of pastel sky blue in every hue, you will walk up the highly-piggeldy alleys heading to the main square of Outa Hammam. The latter is where you can see the town inactive and the daily life of the town. You will stay overnight in Chefchaouen.

4th Day: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez:

Right after your delicious breakfast, you say goodbye to Chefchaouen and head to Fes passing by Ouazzan, until we get to Volubilis. The latter is located near Meknes. The remains of the roman empire and was a long time ago a crucial center of settlement for Romans. You move on to Meknes, the Ismailis’ city, which contains tall fences, the fences built when Meknes was founded by Moulay Ismail to protect it from the attack of enemies, the length of the wall is 40 kilometers.

We will drive you to Lahdim square to see the famous “Bab Mansor”. The huge gateway full of inscriptions, the square if full of cafes, street vendors, souks, and street artists. Afterward, you will be going to Quarra’s prison, it used to be a prison at the time of the sultan Moulay Ismail, at the first glance you won’t see the prison but it is right there, it is built underground. Then you say goodbye to Meknes to go back again to overnight in your Riad or hotel in Fes.

5th Day: Visit of the cultural city Fez:

Today, unlike the previous four days, you will stay to spend the whole day exploring Fez. The latter is an exotic delightful city, or rather the spiritual city as it is locally known to be. you can have a guide to show you the city and the old medina which is protected by UNESCO, stroll the narrow alleys of the old medina together with your guide. Then you will go to see the most famous sites in the Fes like El-Kayrawan University, the first and oldest university in the world. The university was founded by a woman Fatima Lfihriya, then move to Madrassa Bouanania. We will have a break for lunch before we drive you to the Royal place Gate. Also, to the Mellah, the Jewish quarter. Next, to Batha Museum.

6th Day: Fez – Azrou – Midelt- Merzouga :

On this day, we will drive you wherever you have your breakfast to Ifrane. The latter is known as the Switzerland of Africa. On the way to will see the true visual wealth of morocco, fertile lands, fruitful trees, and cedars. In Azrou you will enjoy your time and snapping pictures with the barbarian Apes. They are friendly and you can feed them with your bare hands. To shorten the driving time. Also to have some time to walk within cedars you will overnight in Midelt. Not to mention that there is a luxurious hotel available for your comfort. Midelt will be a good option to overnight in summer.

Heading up to Merzouga, the next day will allow you to visit the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani the area is famous for date production. Then we will hit the road to Merzouga the mesmerizing spot in the middle of the desert, you will see the big sand dunes, and enjoy a Saharan cup of tea. You will spend your night in the luxurious camp in a memorable night under the stars.

7th Day: Erg Chebbi and Camel Riding:

Wake up to have your breakfast and then, we will take you to Erg Chebbi, the largest sand sea of Morocco which has the highest dunes. You are going to meet the locals whose living depends on farming, and you can wander through the palm towering palm trees containing over 200 types of data as well. El-Majhoul is the most delicious and expensive. It is your chance to get closer to the Moroccan Saharan life as well before you can take a short ride to Rissani to have lunch. After lunch, you will have an amazing experience with camel trekking. In the afternoon you will catch the beautiful sight of the sunset. At night, Moroccan delicious dinner is waiting for you, the barbarian musicians are there playing for you Tuareg and Gnawa’s music as you can join them drumming or dance.

8th Day: Sahara Desert -Todgha Gorges – Dades Valley:

Wake up early from the dawn to watch the magical sunrise, watch the sun beginning as an arc in the blue sky before it becomes a ball of fire. After having breakfast you will be taken back by camels to where the cars are to take you on a ride to the stunning Dades valley. Not to mention that we will have to stop in Tinjdad or Tinghir for lunch before heading to Dades valley. Tinghir is much better as you will see Todgha Gorges; the famous spot for rock climbing. Once we will take you to Dades Valley you can explore the area and walk within the oasis.

9th Day: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou:

This morning, you will travel to Ouarzazate, the famous city for its historical Kasbahs, Taourirt Kasbah which is located in the center of the city. You will know about the history and stories about this Kasbah and then we will take you to the cinema studios, the CLA studios and Atlas Studios are reputed to be the most well-known studios in the world. You continue onward to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site, the red mud and strew village which is the main backdrop for cinema productions, you will recognize The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou in the series of a Games of thrones from the final scene of episode 03. Visiting Ait Ben Haddou will be a memory that will stick in your mind forever. Dinner and Breakfast in a hotel in Ait Benhaddou.

10th Day: Ait ben Haddou -Taroudant:

Prepare yourself to leave after enjoying your breakfast for a long drive to Taroudant passing by Taznakht and Taliouine. Taroudant looks like a smaller Marrakech, the areas are known as Argan and Safran, you will have the opportunity to meet locals and contact them directly and see their lifestyle.

11th Day: Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira:

On our drive to the coastal city of Agadir, you will have the day free to scout about Agadir city and to see its charming views from the Cornish and watching the surfers crashing the Atlantic Ocean wave. In 1960 the city of Agadir has witnessed a scourge and it was devastated by the earthquake, but later on, the city was rebuilt completely. Then, we are going to drive you to Essaouira through the coastal road, during this trip you will enjoy seeing the coast along the way.

Essaouira is the capital of Gnawa Music and it has the nicest beach for a stroll or a camel ride, and you as well stroll along the medina and enjoy a fish dish for dinner. You overnight in Essaouira to be ready for an exciting journey from Morocco 2-week itinerary from Casablanca tomorrow.

12th Day: Essaouira – Marrakech:

You will have a day free to revel in Essaouira. 15th Day: Marrakech – Casablanca:
